HILL CREST situated in the Newby Bridge area, offers a high standard of accommodation in a truly relaxing, clean and non-smoking environment, set in its own grounds and surrounded by picturesque countryside, boasting stunning views from all rooms. Ideally located for walking and sightseeing in the Lake district and furness peninsula with many attractions only a short drive away - the Lakeside and Haverthwaite railway -  (steam train), this can be seen from your bedroom window. Lakes Aquarium and Windermere lake cruises ( all in walking distance),as well as Holker Hall, Fell Foot Park, Dalton Wild Animal Park,and Beatrix Potters Exhibition, Bowness on Windermere and only a couple of minutes from the southern end of Lake Windermere.  Cartmel racecourse only 5 mins away. New to our area ( 5 mins walk) the Lakeland motor museum (formally in Holker Hall grounds)

The market town of Ulverston only a short drive away from Newby Bridge, with Laural and Hardy back in town - in bronze!! Conishead Priory 1 mile outside the town. Grange-over-Sands and Cartmel are also close by.

All rooms are very individual, beautifully decorated, and kept to a very high standard of cleanliness and decor to make your stay as memorable as possible.  Shower rooms all fitted with powerful showers. Family friendly! with the perfect room - a suite, consisting of a double room with an adjoining room with 2 single beds for the children and TVs in both rooms.

Breakfasts are cooked using fresh locally sourced produce, with plenty of choice - from the traditional English with award winning Cumberland sausage from a butchers just outside of Newby Bridge, to lighter options of spanish omelette. Starters include freshly prepared fruit salad/fruit compot, coussants and variations of fresh scones and pastries.

Established 17 years ago, Hill Crest has always maintained a high standard, reflected in being awarded every year with the 4 Red Qs/Diamond status and now the yellow star/highly commended status - showing, 'we maintain a very high standard/quality in every area' ( given to only the top 10%)
